Based just 40 minutes south of Belfast, and 2 hours north of Dublin, our location is ideal for a day trip or a short stay coming from any part of Ireland.
Clearsky Adventure Centre is located next to the historic and beautiful villages of Strangford and Portaferry. Based within a stunning 16th Century clock courtyard on the grounds of the National Trusts Castle Ward Estate, we have a stunning adventure playground that expands for 800 acres, and sits on the famous shores of Strangford Lough.
Surrounded by all this, we offer more than just an Adventure Centre, there is an entire holiday destination here on our doorsteps to be discovered. The local villages of Strangford and Portaferry offer award winning accommodation, restaurants and pubs, along with traditional Irish craic. This area is also home to many unique attractions such as the Strangford-Portaferry Ferry – saving you a 2 hour journey to reach the Ards Peninsula. It is also home to Irelands only Aquarium – Exploris Aquarium.
Further down the road you will find towns of Downpatrick (famed as the burial place of Saint Patrick), Belfast (Northern Irelands Capital City and shopping hub) and many more!
